The wait isn't any bother. She'll be running into mental roadblocks herself. It's an intense surge on her end, and she can't recall years without him. What he's feeling is entirely beyond her willingness to guess. He can work things out at his own pace.
And an answer like that is worth the wait. Slowly, but much more confidently than his own, she smiles back. "That's great. That's terrific. I didn't know how I was going to manage here without all of you."
